Terms of Service

Last updated: 28 August 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the EDUJAC School ERP & Management Platform at edujac.com (the "Service"), operated by EDUJAC Technologies LLP ("EDUJAC", "we", "us").

2. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a school or organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf. Subscribing schools may additionally be governed by a separate subscription agreement or order form; where both apply, that document prevails for the commercial terms it covers.

3. Eligibility and authorized use

The Service is intended for schools and their authorized administrators, teachers, staff and parents/guardians. Accounts may only be used by the person or institution they were created for, and only for lawful school-management purposes.

4. School accounts

School accounts are created by EDUJAC (platform administration) or as agreed with the school. The school is responsible for the accuracy of its registration information and for the activities of its users.

5. User accounts and credential security

Each user must keep login credentials confidential and not share accounts. Passwords are stored only in hashed form. Users must notify their school administrator or EDUJAC promptly if they suspect unauthorized access. EDUJAC may require credential resets to protect the Service.

6. Responsibilities

  • Schools: ensure authority and any required consents (including parental/guardian consent for children's data) for information entered; manage staff access; review content before sharing with parents (for example, publishing report cards).
  • Teachers/staff: enter accurate records; use AI-assisted features responsibly and review AI-generated educational content before sharing; protect student information.
  • Parents/guardians: use the parent portal lawfully; keep their own credentials secure; raise record corrections with the school.

7. Acceptable use

Use the Service only for genuine school administration, teaching, communication and related educational purposes, in compliance with applicable law and these Terms.

8. Prohibited use

  • Unlawful, harmful or fraudulent activity, or uploading unlawful content.
  • Attempting to access another school's or user's data, or bypass security or access controls.
  • Interfering with or disrupting the Service, its infrastructure or other users.
  • Reverse engineering, scraping or reselling the Service except as permitted by law or agreement.
  • Misusing AI-assisted features to generate harmful, misleading or inappropriate educational content.

9. Subscription and service access

Access for subscribing schools is provided under the applicable subscription plan. Commercial details — pricing, billing cycles, renewal, cancellation and any refund terms — are established through EDUJAC's School SaaS Subscription Agreement or order form with the school, and are not set out in these public Terms.

10. Fees and payments

Platform subscription fees are as per the applicable agreement. Fee payments made by parents through the Service are processed by third-party payment providers (such as Stripe) on their hosted pages; those providers' terms apply to the payment transaction. Applicable taxes apply as required by law.

11. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers (hosting/cloud, email, SMS/WhatsApp delivery, payment processing, AI services). EDUJAC is not responsible for third-party services' availability or their independent terms and privacy practices.

12. AI-assisted functionality

AI features may assist teachers with educational content and suggestions. AI-generated content may be inaccurate or incomplete and must be reviewed by a teacher or authorized user before use or sharing. Users remain responsible for content they publish.

13. Intellectual property

  • EDUJAC Technologies LLP owns all rights in the EDUJAC software, source code, platform, technology, product design, branding and trademarks. Using the Service grants no ownership of EDUJAC intellectual property.
  • Schools retain rights and control over their institutional data (student records, attendance, marks, report cards, parent and staff information, fee records, timetables, leave records and other institutional information), subject to applicable law and contractual arrangements. EDUJAC does not claim ownership of school or student data merely because it is stored or processed through the platform.

14. Privacy and data protection

Use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, Data Protection Policy, Cookie & Device Storage Policy and Data Retention & Deletion Policy, available on our website.

15. Confidentiality

Non-public information exchanged between EDUJAC and a school in connection with the Service should be treated as confidential and used only for the purposes of the Service, except as required by law.

16. Service availability and maintenance

EDUJAC works to keep the Service available and may perform maintenance, updates or upgrades, which may occasionally affect availability. No specific uptime percentage or service-level commitment is made in these public Terms; any service levels would be set out in the applicable subscription agreement.

17. Suspension

EDUJAC may suspend access where reasonably necessary — for example, for security incidents, unlawful use, material breach of these Terms, or as required by law — and will aim to notify the affected school where appropriate.

18. Termination

A school may stop using the Service as per its agreement; EDUJAC may terminate or suspend access for material breach, unlawful use or non-payment per the applicable agreement. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law) survive termination.

19. Data export and deletion after termination

Following termination, an appropriate data-export mechanism or period may be provided according to the applicable agreement and technical capabilities. After applicable retention and export requirements are satisfied, school data may be securely deleted or anonymized unless retention is required for legal, contractual, security or dispute-related purposes.

20. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. EDUJAC disclaims warranties not expressly stated, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Educational decisions and records remain the responsibility of the school and its staff.

21. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, EDUJAC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

22. Indemnity

To the extent legally appropriate and permitted, schools/users agree to indemnify EDUJAC against claims arising from their unlawful use of the Service, content they submit without authority, or breach of these Terms.

23. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The parties will first attempt good-faith resolution of disputes. Failing that, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction agreed in the applicable subscription agreement.

24. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date shows the current version. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
