Cookie & Device Storage Policy

Last updated: 28 August 2026

1. What this policy covers

This policy describes how the EDUJAC website and application use cookies and similar device-storage technologies. We inspected our application and describe only what it actually uses.

2. What EDUJAC actually uses

The EDUJAC application itself does not set browser cookies. Instead, it uses your browser's localStorage for a small number of essential and preference items:

  • Authentication session token (localStorage key: eduspark_token) — ESSENTIAL. A signed token that keeps you logged in and lets the app call the API securely. It is removed when you log out, and is invalidated server-side when your password changes.
  • Remembered login email (localStorage key: eduspark_remembered_email) — OPTIONAL PREFERENCE. Stored only if you enable "Remember email on this device" on the login page, and used solely to prefill your email next time. It never stores your password or token differently, and you can remove it anytime by unchecking the option and logging in, or by clearing site data.

3. What EDUJAC does not use

  • No advertising, marketing or behavioural-tracking cookies or pixels.
  • No analytics or third-party tracking scripts (for example, no Google Analytics or Meta Pixel).
  • No sessionStorage-based tracking.

4. Third-party resources

The website loads font files from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com), a content-delivery service, which may process standard technical request data (such as IP address) under Google's own policies. In the product's preview/demo environment, the hosting platform may load its own badge script; this is not part of the production application.

5. Categories at a glance

  • Essential technologies: the authentication token in localStorage (required to use the app).
  • Preference storage: the remembered-email entry (optional, user-controlled).
  • Analytics: not used.
  • Optional/advertising technologies: not used.

6. How to control or clear storage

You can clear localStorage through your browser's site-data settings. Clearing it signs you out and removes the remembered email. Because the authentication token is essential, the application requires it to function.

7. Changes to this policy

If our use of storage technologies changes, this page will be updated with the current "Last updated" date.
